ImagoBird

Introduction

ImagoBird is an advanced Image Browser.

It allows for the browsing and viewing of an array of image formats, by directory, list or library.

It's going to have a variety of tools for working with images including an image editor, icon creator and quite a lot more. It's early days yet but already there is a batch converter and resizing tool. You can organize images into user created categories and turn those into lists, and import into library files.

It's designed to work a lot like an Internet Browser so it should feel comfortable and familiar to use.

Included in the format support are the new AVIF and WEBP file formats.

Updated: Lot's of work done on IVList Frame, adding common actions for file/image organization and administration like file operations, categories and the alike.  Essentially bringing it somewhat in-line with image browser frame.

Updated: IVList: Sorted out the UI, rearranged glyphs and minimized the amount of buttons, using popups, added a context menu to all the views.

Updated: IVList: Added the Image view to list gathering, returns the current file into the list, just the current file if in image view.  It also properly selects the current file in the List View as well.

Updated: Added a few glyphs here and there.

Added: Center and Fit to Window options for the Preview Pane in IVList Frame.

Updated: Bookmark Manager Fixed, directories will no longer be removed, just missing ones and files.

Updated: IV List Frame: Files should be properly added when they don't exist in FFileList when adding content, Needs more testing but should be okay.

Updated: More error capture round loading empty IVLists in IVList Frame.  If Empty a warning is shown to remind to add content and view is switched to ListView.

Added: IVList Frame: Lot's of Send To Stuff to bring in-line with browser.

Added: IVList: Send to Folder (Copy/Move)

Added: IVList: File Op's, Copy, Move, Delete Selected Files (Updates ivlist).

Updated: Various tweaks and improvements.

Updated: Worked on IVList frame today, bringing in-line with general gallery first, and then selecting on list ethos from other frames, moved a few things around and got the previewing of images (Gallery View) working.

Added: Bookmark Dropdown on Image Viewer instead of merely the add button, has add, delete and local type bookmarks.

Added: Options: Functionality for Grid Light, Dark, cell size is coded in, but no setting to set the option as yet (Waiting on settings dialog). Cellsize for the transparent images svg and png is half the cellsize of the main grid, min of 2, will reset to 10 after that. (Small grids slow down draw time).

Added: Temp Settings Dialog for Grid Settings, (Cell size, light, dark, enabled).  Will replace with the full settings dialog later on this is mostly for testing the options work as they should.

Updated: Minimize to Tray is now optional, set in settings menu (Main, Popup).

Added: Glyphs for settings and Clear Tools.

Update: Fixed error in replacement table in batch resize.

Update: Batch Resize, Convert forms now hang around, forgot to change finally to except in the creation on the form.

Updated: Rearranged the Image Viewer Frame UI a little, moved Flip and Rotate into Image Manipulation menu, and zoom down into the mini bar below the image.

Updated: Fixed issue with non square aspect resizes in Batch Resize Dialog

Added: Tab icons should now select to file type icon.

Updated: Thanks to advice from lazarus forum, thumbnails are MUCH faster. a 30mp thumb takes under a second to load and gen. (JPG)

Added: Error image for unloadable thumbs

Updated: Quick View window is now centered on the mouse cursor (Form center for the dismiss click).

Updated: Various tweaks and quality of living adjustments.

Updated: Size removed from thumb desc, because it really slowed down the loading and generation of the thumbnail.

Updated: Mirror selection issues on Image Browser.

BUG: Have to have image selected in listview to roll wheel on mouse in preview page.

Updated: I think the hiding of the directory files is now working...needs more thorough testing, but it worked in my debug testing.  The key appears to be unhiding the file before attempting to write to it, then hiding it when done.

Updated: Cut down the amount of visible buttons on the ImageBrowser toolbar.

Added: Header as footer to Directory Browser with clickable root section that shows popup of drives to select, works the same as the cboDrives combo box essentially.

Added: File Icons for common types and default image icon, and function selector for image index.

Added: ListView icon list and selector to IVList browser, and Batch dialogs with file lists that are TListView.
